Scrappers block!

Well, this week I have the days to myself. Grant is at his Dad's until Thursday and Kellie is at her Nana's in Norfolk. I have been looking forward to scrapping some photos that I never seem to get round to doing. I printed them off at the weekend ready to be scrapped. Well, it should have been easy, one of the photos is of the snow that we had back in April, when our garden was covered and looked amazing. When it actually came to scrapping this photo I couldn't make up my mind what papers to use. After half a day spent looking through my papers I gave up!! I went and read my current issue of scrapbook inspirations instead. I'm a bit disapointed as I can see the days being wasted and the kids will be back soon and I wouldn't have got any scrapping done at all.

I was in town early this morning and went into WHSmiths. All their scrapbooking stuff is half price and they had loads of albums for £7. Too bad i couldn't really afford to buy any more stash, even though I desperately need some new albums. I ended up buying a pack of 30 page protectors for £2.99 instead and squeezed them into my existing albums.

This is the gorgeous picture I am struggling to scrap!!

  1. Its a beautiful photo, looks very tranquil, I can see why you are having a problem... April isn't exactly Christmasy so those sort of papers are out... and that scene is not exactly easter bunny spring papers either... I would go for old fashioned browns/sepia tones and make it olde worlde, with torn edges and lots of inks...
